Family Practice
We believe in creating long-term relationships between our patients and healthcare providers.
Our dedicated, multi-disciplinary team of family physicians, nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals provides a range of services under one roof. From routine check-ups and wellness programs, to mental health care and managing chronic conditions, we are here to support your health journey with empathy and expertise.
Urgent Care
STEPS Urgent Care is the place you can go to get same-day care for urgent and non-life-threatening health concerns, such as sprains and strains, cuts, wounds or skin conditions, or a high fever. It’s an alternative to visiting the hospital for issues that don’t require emergency care, especially when you're unable to see your family doctor. Our Sun Peaks location provides accessible, urgent care for everyone in our community.
Women’s & Sexual Health
Our Women’s & Sexual Health Program provides sexual and reproductive health services for women and individuals with female reproductive organs, inclusive of all ages, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Our team offers a safe and supportive environment, committed to providing confidential, non-judgmental, youth-friendly, pro-choice, and sex-positive care.
We empower people to make informed decisions about their health, offering guidance and services that respect the unique needs and experiences of each individual.
Indigenous Partnership Program
Our Indigenous partnership program is dedicated to serving the health needs of Indigenous communities in the Thompson Region. Our STEPS team provides medical services in partnership with the Q'wemtsín Health Society which provides holistic health services to three Secwépemc communities; Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc, Skeetchestn and Whispering Pines/Clinton Indian Band.
Our approach is rooted in respect for traditional practices and an understanding of the unique health challenges faced by Indigenous peoples.
